How do you make quality Totsville early childhood program affordable?
Totsville has a zero deposit and zero registration fees policy. In addition, Totsville does not have any long-term contract (with minimum commitment) with the parents. To assist parents and guardians during tough economic times, Totsville has a NO TUITION INCREASE GUARANTEE.
How is Totsville different from other centers in the area?
Totsville Childcare Learning Center offers a unique blend of high-quality care, unmatched ratios and group sizes, and a natural, residential setting. Our outdoor play area features all the key components necessary to promote outdoor learning, and physical fitness. Unlike other centers that have no research based curriculum, Totsville has a full-time certified curriculum trainer on staff to assist classrooms in providing maximum individualized attention to children.
What is your overall philosophy?
Totsville incorporates the results and findings of the latest research as the foundation for its childcare and educational programs. To ensure optimal brain/cognitive, social and emotional development, and happy, secure children, Totsville offers low child to teacher ratios; small groups of children; highly trained, professional, loving teachers; and appropriate stimulating experiences and opportunities.
Why are low teacher/child ratios important?
Low ratios of children to teachers are associated with more extensive teacher and child interactions; more individual attention; more extensive and complex language; and more complex play.
Why are small group sizes important?
Small group sizes are correlated with children being more active in their learning; more opportunity for teachers to help children develop language proficiency; children engaged in more social interaction; and more development of children’s exploration and problem-solving.
What holidays are you closed for?
Totsville is at least closed on the following holidays or on the day designated for the holiday: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday, Christmas Day.
What are your hours of operation?
Totsville is open year round, 6:30 A.M. TO 6:30 P.M., Monday through Friday. In case the child is enrolled full-time, Totsville does not restrict the hours per day. We understand that parents have long commutes and therefore all twelve hours are available to all full-time students.
What are your rates?
Our rates vary by age, number of children in the family, and full-time versus part-time. Please stop by for a tour, and we’ll be happy to provide you with a customized rate schedule that fits your needs.
Do you offer part-time care?
Yes. Our schedules are flexible to meet the needs of today’s busy parents. In case you miss a day, Totsville's flexible scheduling encourages make-up in the same week without any extra cost.
